PASS.
Although the Raptors (+215) are a solid team, it’s tough to trust them on the road against the Nuggets. Plus, backing Denver (-260) at these odds isn’t advised.
BET NUGGETS -7 (-110).
Losing to the Grizzlies on the road in their most recent game isn’t ideal for the Nuggets, but they’ve done well after losses. Coming off a loss, Denver is 17-10 ATS, and they are 16-13 ATS when facing Eastern Conference opponents.
On the other side, the Raptors are 10-13 ATS against Western Conference opponents.
BET UNDER 238.5 (-110).
The Over is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings between Denver and Toronto, but the first meeting only hit 209. Both teams are 21st or worse in pace, so we won’t get a track meet here.
Taking the Over could be tied to the Nuggets being 21st in adjusted defensive rating (116.0), but the Raptors are only 18th in adjusted offensive rating (114.1) and 16th in effective field-goal percentage (53.9%). Despite Denver ranking first in adjusted offensive rating (120.1), Toronto ranks sixth in adjusted defensive rating (112.4).
