Former NBA star Dennis Rodman is set for another Hall of Fame induction.

Rodman was as eccentric as it got during his time in the NBA. And his larger-than-life persona saw him branch out into other disciplines, including wrestling.

A two-time NBA champion with the Detroit Pistons, Rodman was central to one of the three-peats the Chicago Bulls achieved under Phil Jackson, with Michael Jordan leading the way.

The 64-year-old was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011. Given his influence on basketball in the ’80s and ‘90s, he was always going to be a shoo-in for the HOF. And it’s not the only one he’s going to be in.

WWE has confirmed a report from ESPN’s Shams Charania revealing that the erstwhile rebounding machine will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in April.

“Crossover: Basketball Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in April, per ESPN sources,” Charania reported on Friday.

“Rodman made his WCW debut in 1997 and famously skipped a practice during the 1998 NBA Finals for a wrestling match alongside Hulk Hogan. Two HOFs for Rodman.”

Rodman will be presented the promotion’s highest honor during WrestleMania week on April 17.

“Earlier today, it was announced by ESPN’s Shams Charania that Dennis Rodman will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame!” the company shared. “The 2026 #WWEHOF Ceremony will take place Friday, April 17 in Las Vegas as part of WrestleMania 42 week.”

Wrestling fans would recall Rodman’s run with WCW in the late ‘90s, when he joined the late Hulk Hogan and nWo. He made his first appearance in early 1997 and went on to feature sporadically on WCW programming.

His most memorable match saw him team up with Hogan to defeat Diamond Dallas Page and fellow NBA star Karl Malone at ‘Bash at the Beach’ in 1998.

Rodman has made appearances for other wrestling promotions over the years, including AEW back in 2023.
