A consensus top-three pick in the upcoming 2026 NBA Draft, Cameron Boozer has been a topic of conversation, especially as the NBA regular season comes to a close.

The Duke forward has performed amongst the best in collegiate basketball this season, averaging 22.4 points, 10.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.5 steals. In a recent interview, Boozer talked about his NBA inspiration, highlighting one of his favorite players to watch.

“My favorite team is Duke basketball, for sure,” Cameron said. “And then I would say one of the players is Anthony Davis.”

Although Boozer isn’t as strong a shot-blocker as Davis, he’s proven to be much more skilled as a passer and a stronger shooter from the perimeter. Other than those differences, it’s easy to see the comparison between the two stars. Davis was also a top pick, selected No. 1 overall out of Kentucky in the 2012 NBA Draft, following a national title.

Boozer will hope to match Davis in that category, as the Blue Devils have advanced to the Sweet 16 against St. John’s.
