On Wednesday evening, the Boston Celtics played the Oklahoma City Thunder (at home).
The Celtics won by a score of 119-109.
Jayson Tatum finished with 19 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists, three steals and one block while shooting 5/12 from the field and 3/6 from three-point range in 35 minutes of playing time.

In addition, Tatum also made Celtics history with his performance.
Celtics Stats wrote: “Jayson Tatum is the first Celtic to record at least 19 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals in a game since Kevin Garnett on 11/7/07.”

Tatum has been very solid since returning from injury.
The former Duke star has averages of 19.1 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 39.1% from the field and 30.9% from three-point range in nine games.

The Celtics are the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 48-24 record in 72 games.
They have won seven out of their last ten (and are 25-11 at home).
Following the Thunder, the Celtics will play their next game on Friday night when they host Jalen Johnson and the Atlanta Hawks.

The Celtics are coming off a year where they beat the Orlando Magic in the first round of the NBA playoffs (before losing to the New York Knicks).
A healthy Tatum could make them a real threat to win their second title in three years.

The Thunder had their 12-game winning streak come to an end.
They are still the first seed in the Western Conference with a 57-16 record in 73 games.
Following Boston, the Thunder will play their next game on Friday when they host Josh Giddey and the Chicago Bulls.
