Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers got back to winning ways on Wednesday with a 137-130 road win against the Indiana Pacers. It was another hard-fought regular-season matchup for the Lakers, but an extra-special occasion featuring a very distinctive guest.

Caitlin Clark was in the building for Wednesday’s game. The Indiana Fever guard did not attend as a fan, though. Instead, Clark was commissioned by the Pacers as a special guest photographer.

The 24-year-old was spotted courtside with a camera in hand, together with other photographers and media personnel. After the game, Clark took to social media to say that she has “some good stuff coming.”

Doncic, who erupted for 43 points to lead the Lakers to victory, spoke to reporters after the game. One of the questions he was asked was about Clark’s presence.

However, Doncic was left confused after the reporter asked him if he noticed “Caitlin Clark, the photographer.” The Lakers star had to clarify the question, which prompted an explanation from the photographer.

Doncic admitted that he didn’t realize Clark was there as a photographer or that the two-time WNBA All-Star took a photo of him at one point in the game. Doncic did acknowledge, though, that he holds Clark in high regard.

“I’m a big fan for sure, I watch a lot of games,” he said. “Definitely, her hooping is great to watch. For sure, gotta go to a game to see her.”

Doncic will need to wait a few more weeks before he sees Clark back on the court. The Fever are set to open the new WNBA season on May 9.
