Yesterday, the Washington Wizards defeated the Utah Jazz to end their 16-game losing streak. That’s the good news. However, there’s an unfortunate trend that we have also seen along the way.

That trend? The Wizards have lost 16 games in a row five times. And four of those times came in the last three seasons, all under Washington’s current front office led by Michael Winger.

The Wizards’ second-longest losing streak was 14 games, and it also happened earlier this season.

It is true that the Wizards have made some crafty trades to bring in Trae Young and Anthony Davis. Next season, the Wizards are expected to improve in the standings if both are healthy. However, these long losing streaks are getting tiring to see as a fan. Hopefully we won’t see thing like this again for a very, very long time.
