Although, according to Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic, Edwards is expected to make his return in Dallas, as he needs to play in all eight remaining games to reach the 65-game threshold for All-NBA eligibility.
Edwards is enjoying a career year in the 2025–26 season for Minnesota, averaging a career-best 29.5 points on nearly 50 percent shooting, along with 5.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.4 steals across 58 games.
