LOS ANGELES — A former Gonzaga Bulldog legend and perhaps the greatest player in NBA history swapped jerseys over the weekend.
The Los Angeles Lakers posted photos of the team wearing each other’s practice jerseys on Instagram Sunday afternoon.
As part of the jersey swap, LeBron James was seen wearing former Gonzaga Bulldog legend Drew Timme’s Lakers practice jersey, and vice versa.
Timme is currently on a two-way contract with the Lakers organization, getting playing time for both the L.A. Lakers and the South Bay Lakers.
Timme, who is Gonzaga’s all-time leading scorer, is teammates with former Zags Rui Hachimura (L.A. Lakers) and Anton Watson (South Bay Lakers).
