Bub Carrington joins Luka Doncic and LaMelo Ball as the only players in league history to reach 700+ assists and 250+ three-pointers before turning 21 years old.

Bub Carrington earned himself a promising feat in his young NBA career.

Washington Wizards / Schedule

On Monday evening against the Los Angeles Lakers, Carrington’s first assist of the game allowed him to reach 700th career assists.

For that, he officially joins Luka Doncic and LaMelo Ball as the only players in league history to reach 700+ assists and 250+ three-pointers before turning 21 years old.

This season is basically another lost one for Washington, but Carrington stands as one of the Wizards’ main young pieces in their aspired bright future.

As the franchise braces for a highly anticipated 2026-27 season with a healthy Trae Young and Anthony Davis, Carrington is poised to play an important role in D.C.’s rise.

The second-year guard is averaging 10.3 points, 4.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds in 74 games so far for Washington this season.
