Brooks (hand) will return to the Suns’ lineup vs. Orlando after being out since Feb. 21.

Dillon Brooks is poised to finally rejoin the Phoenix Suns.

According to Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic, Brooks (hand) will be back on Tuesday for the Suns against the Orlando Magic.

Brooks missed his 17th consecutive game for Phoenix on Monday, as the Suns easily dismantled the Memphis Grizzlies on the road with a 131-105 victory.

He has been out since Feb. 21 after sustaining a fractured left hand.

Past reports suggest that Brooks will indeed rejoin the Suns on the team’s current road trip. As such, the veteran forward will finally be suiting up again in Orlando.

Brooks embraced being the game-changer for the Suns upon his offseason arrival as part of the Kevin Durant blockbuster trade. In 50 games before going down with his hand injury, Brooks was averaging a career-high 20.9 points with 3.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals.

The return of Brooks can’t be more important for Phoenix in preparation for the Play-In Tournament. They are currently No. 7 in the West standings with a 42-33 record.
