Just under two months after being acquired at the trade deadline from the Atlanta Hawks, Los Angeles Lakers swingman Luke Kennard has already won over his new teammates.

While Kennard was speaking to reporters after Monday night’s 120-101 win over the Washington Wizards, his interview was interrupted by Lakers star LeBron James singing his “theme song.”

Kennard came off the bench and recorded 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting and 4-of-5 from three-point range in Monday’s win.

At 49-26, the Lakers lead the Pacific Division and rank third in the Western Conference as they inch closer to clinching a playoff spot. Los Angeles will need players like Kennard to step up and consistently produce throughout the postseason if it hopes to make a run to the NBA Finals.

Kennard and the Lakers will look to stay hot when they meet the Cleveland Cavaliers (47-28) on Tuesday night.
