Former Cal Poly Men’s Basketball guard Kobe Sanders was one of 75 players invited to the 2025 NBA Draft Combine, the NBA announced Friday.
Sanders and the other prospects will have the opportunity to compete in front of NBA scouts in drills and scrimmages, as well as participate in interviews with teams.
Sanders spent four years at Cal Poly, where he grew as a player and became one of the Mustangs’ premier athletes.
The 6-foot-8 guard jumped from 7.9 points per game in his junior season to 20.2 in his senior campaign for the Mustangs, earning an All-Big West Honorable Mention. In his final game with Cal Poly, he became the 26th player to ever reach 1,000 points with the team.
After his senior season, Sanders received attention from many major Division I programs, but ultimately transferred to Nevada. In one season with the Wolfpack, he led the team in scoring with 15.8 points per game on 46% shooting.
In Nevada’s second round loss in the Mountain West Tournament, he scored 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the effort.
The NBA Draft Combine will take place from May 11-18 at Wintrust Arena and the Marriott Marquis in Chicago.
