By nature of the Golden State Warriors losing tonight, Portland is now four games ahead of Golden State with four games to play. Since Portland won their season series, the Blazers can no longer fall to 10th. That means Portland will play at home…

The Blazers will play their first postseason game this year since 2021 when the Terry Stotts- and Damian Lillard-led 42-30 Blazers lost in 6 games to the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs.

Portland is tied with the Los Angeles Clippers after Los Angeles’ win tonight against the Sacramento Kings, and both the Blazers and Clippers have four games to play. The Blazers need to beat the Clippers this Fri. April 10 to own the tiebreaker and finish 8th if they end the season tied; otherwise, the Clippers will finish 8th if the teams are tied to end the year.

Portland takes on the Denver Nuggets tomorrow in Denver at 6pm Pacific.
