Dillon Brooks received his 18th technical foul of the season in the Phoenix Suns’ 120-110 win against the Chicago Bulls on Sunday and now faces a one-game suspension.
If the foul is not rescinded, Brooks will miss the Suns’ next game against his former team, the Houston Rockets, on Tuesday. He was previously suspended for the Suns’ game against the San Antonio Spurs on Feb. 19 after receiving his 16th foul against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Feb. 11.
At 7:24 in the fourth quarter, Brooks got the technical foul as part of a double tech with Bulls guard Mac McClung.
Because Brooks has already reached the 16 foul requirement for an automatic one-game suspension, every two techs will earn him a one-game suspension. He received his 17th technical foul against the Orlando Magic on Tuesday.
Brooks finished the game with 15 points (on 6 of 15 shooting), with four rebounds, three assists and two steals. Devin Booker led the Suns with 30 points in the win.
