The Oklahoma City Thunder travel on the road to face the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday. This will be the fourth matchup of the season between the two squads. OKC has won the first three with its latest victory on Apr. 2.
The Thunder (62-16) continue to roll along. They made easy work of the Utah Jazz in a 146-111 win on Sunday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a quiet 20 points and seven assists. Chet Holmgren tallied 21 points, seven rebounds and four blocks.
Meanwhile, the Lakers (50-28) have walked through a post-apocalyptic world. They fell to the Dallas Mavericks in a 134-128 loss on Sunday. LeBron James turned back the clock with 30 points and 15 assists, but that wasn’t enough to avoid the upset.

Thunder 123, Lakers 103: In a rematch from just five days ago, both teams enter with completely different circumstances. The Thunder are feeling themselves. They’re on the cusp of grabbing the first seed. Everybody is healthy. The Lakers are on the opposite side of the spectrum. One random night in OKC has completely killed their season. Doncic and Reaves are out. Los Angeles is limping into the NBA playoffs without those two. And with James likely out, it feels like they’re punting this game. Not much to gain with the current state of their roster. OKC should be able to get another double-digit win. Gilgeous-Alexander can be on cruise control.
