The proposed trade would send Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Miami Heat
A former NBA player did not hold back while reacting to the latest drama surrounding Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.
During a heated appearance on ‘To The Baha’, Theo Pinson spoke on Giannis in a rant, turning another Bucks storyline into a fresh round of NBA debate.
Pinson’s comments were aggressive from the start.
“This man summo a whole investigation on his own organization, has anybody ever heard of that? The team that’s going to give him a statue. He told the NBA pull up, these n**s cheating, they don’t want to play me. That’s crazy. But, let’s think about this Giannis. They gave Thanasis and Alex a deal, sit your a** down.”
Theo Pinson GOES OFF on Giannis Antetokounmpo 😳
“THIS MAN SUMMON A WHOLE INVESTIGATION ON HIS OWN ORGANIZATION, HAS ANYBODY EVER HEARD OF THAT? THE TEAM THAT’S GOING TO GIVE HIM A STATUE. He told the NBA pull up, these n****s cheating, they don’t want to play me. That’s crazy.
That quote was not really aimed at a single bad game or a single moment.
Pinson’s main point was that he is fed up with seeing Giannis publicly get angry as the Bucks keep on having problems because, according to him, it has gone on so long that it is both unbearable and tiresome to watch.
Giannis remains a huge star in the league, and each time he visibly shows frustration in public, it not only stirs up doubts about his future but also reignites discussions, despite his declarations of love for Milwaukee and his desire to end his career there.
Why the rant matters more now as Bucks and Giannis tension keeps growing
The reason Pinson’s rant’s timing is pretty significant is that Giannis and the Bucks have been surrounded by tension even after their losing frustrations have been normalized. The NBA launched an investigation in early April into how Milwaukee handled Giannis’ status for playing after there was a mixed message about whether he was healthy enough to return.
The investigation became a major story because Giannis openly challenged it. According to reports, he was determined to play, while the Bucks, who were not allowing him to play, argued that he had not yet received medical clearance. So publicly, they were at odds, which only added to the team’s drama.
If you look at it that way, Pinson’s rant is almost a response to the situation around Milwaukee that keeps cycling endlessly. One more time, a statement from Giannis seems to be creating more problems by questioning loyalty, trust, and whether the Bucks have any real route with their superstar player.
It is exactly why the clip is really telling. Pinson’s words were a bit sharp, but they conveyed the growing weariness over one of the NBA’s most tangled storylines: a Bucks team that keeps on struggling, a very frustrated Giannis Antetokounmpo, and a future that suddenly does not seem as clear as before.
