This is the 25th season of the Grizzlies in Memphis. To commemorate the anniversary, “Grizzlies 25” will count down the greatest players in Memphis Grizzlies history throughout the season.

Those who have watched Memphis Grizzlies games on NBA League Pass this season have seen the clip, probably a bunch. It seems to play multiple times during commercial breaks in a game.

It’s Sunday, May 1, 2011, and the Memphis Grizzlies have just rolled into Oklahoma City to begin a playoff series against the Thunder, only two days after having upset the top-seeded San Antonio Spurs.

At day of service, Zach Randolph shares lesson with Grizzlies newcomers

Zach Randolph has scored 34 points in an upset Grizzlies win, prompting Thunder superstar Kevin Durant, in his postgame media availability, to proclaim Randolph “the best power forward in the league.”

The clip is of Randolph, soon after, taking his own turn on the dais and being asked to react to what Durant has said.

“I’ve got to agree with that,” says Randolph, smiling. “Thanks, KD.”
