MANCHESTER, N.H. —
An 18-year-old Nashua native has declared for the 2026 NBA Draft.
Ebuka Okorie, a 6-foot-2 freshman at Stanford, led the Atlantic Coast Conference in scoring, averaging 23 points per game.
He ranked eighth in the nation and can score from anywhere on the court.
Before college, Okorie played at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro and was named New Hampshire’s Gatorade Player of the Year for the 2024-25 season.

He is projected to be selected late in the first round. If that happens, he would become the first New Hampshire player chosen in the first round.
Dartmouth’s new men’s basketball coach, Brett MacConnell, who served as an assistant at Stanford last season, coached Okorie.
“Really, really special, humble, hardworking, has not let any of his success get to his head,” MacConnell said. “Awesome teammate, the guys love him, his coaches love him, really special kid and an unbelievable talent.”
