On Sunday, the Memphis Grizzlies played their final game of the 2026 regular season when they played the Houston Rockets in Texas.
The Grizzlies lost by a score of 132-101.
Ja Morant did not play in the game, as he had been out since January 21.

On Monday, the news was revealed that Morant would not be speaking during exit interviews.
Matt Infield of Action News 5 wrote: “Ja Morant will not speak at Grizzlies’ exit interviews today.”

Morant finished the season with averages of 19.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, 8.1 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 41.0% from the field and 23.5% from three-point range in 20 games.

Morant was the second pick in the 2019 NBA Draft out of Murray State.
He has spent his entire seven-year career with the Memphis.
Over 327 career games, the two-time NBA All-Star has averages of 22.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 46.6% from the field and 31.1% from three-point range.
