Indiana men’s basketball coach Darian DeVries continued to build his 2026-27 roster on Wednesday when Aiden Sherrell and Bryce Lindsay both committed to IU from the transfer portal.
A 6-foot-11, 255-pound forward, Sherell is a native of Detroit who played two seasons at Alabama. As a sophomore in the 2025-26 season, he started 34 of Alabama’s 36 games and averaged 11.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.2 blocked shots and 1.1 assists in 23.9 minutes per game.
