Less than a day after making his first hire, women’s basketball head coach Roman Owen has chosen his number two, naming Adam Call as the associate head coach for the Quinnipiac women’s basketball.
“I’m really excited to bring Adam on as the associate head coach for the Quinnipiac women’s basketball program,” Owen wrote in a press release. “He has two decades of experience that can help our student-athletes become the best versions of themselves on and off the floor. What he brings to the table will help this program continue to compete at a high level.”
Prior to arriving in Hamden, Call spent a season as assistant coach at the University of Loyola Chicago, where the Ramblers fell to the eventual Atlantic-10 champion Rhode Island Rams in the quarterfinal round of the conference tournament. He also spent four years at George Washington University where the Revolutionaries won the A-10 Championship three times.
