Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Tim Hardaway Jr. are all finalists for regular season awards.
DENVER — Three Denver Nuggets players have been named as finalists for regular season awards, the NBA announced Sunday.
Center Nikola Jokic is once again a finalist for Most Valuable Player. It would be his fourth MVP award if he wins, but he’ll have to beat out Oklahoma City Thunder guard and reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and San Antonio Spurs center/forward Victor Wembanyama for the honor.
Jokic averaged a triple-double for the second consecutive season with 27.7 points and a league-leading 12.9 rebounds and 10.7 assists per game.
Nuggets guard Jamal Murray is a finalist for Clutch Player of the Year. He’s competing with Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards and Gilgeous-Alexander.
Murray averaged 25.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game this season.
Nuggets forward-guard Tim Hardaway Jr. is up for Sixth Man of the Year. His fellow finalists are Miami Heat guard Jaime Jaquez Jr. and San Antonio Spurs forward-guard Keldon Johnson.
Hardaway averaged 13.5 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game for the 2025-2026 season.
Clutch Player of the Year will be announced on Tuesday. Sixth Man of the Year will be announced on Wednesday. The NBA has not said when the MVP will be announced.
