The Boston Celtics dominated the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 1 of their first-round playoff series Sunday, winning 123-91.

It was the franchise’s 63rd playoff appearance, and the win marked Boston’s largest margin of victory in a postseason opener in team history, breaking a record set in 2008.

Jayson Tatum, playing in his first postseason game since suffering an Achilles injury in last year’s series against the New York Knicks, finished with 25 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists.

Brown led all scorers with 26 points, four rebounds and three assists.

Four other Celtics finished in double figures as Boston forced 14 turnovers.

The 76ers played without star center Joel Embiid after his appendectomy.

The Celtics will look to take a 2-0 lead in Game 2 on Tuesday at TD Garden before the series shifts to Philadelphia.
