“Year 13 [tickmark emoji]. This has been one of the toughest seasons of my career, but as they say, like a phoenix from the ashes, I’ll rise,” the Bucks star wrote.
He added, “To the city of Milwaukee, MY city, thank you for the unwavering love and support.”

While the message reads like a standard offseason reflection, the “phoenix” reference immediately stood out, especially given the growing questions around his future with the Bucks.

There were also questions about intent, with fans posting, “Is that a subliminal message? Are you traded to the Phoenix Suns?” and “Phoenix? As in the Phoenix Suns…?”
Others went even further, openly pushing for a move, with one fan writing, “Giannis, please leave Milwaukee, man.”
