Giannis Antetokounmpo made an Instagram post on Monday night dedicated to completing his 13th season in the league with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The caption, however, is what caused fans to go into a frenzy after the nine-time all-star suggested a possible move to the Phoenix Suns?!

“This has been one of the toughest seasons in my career, but as they say, like a phoenix from the ashes, I’ll rise,” Antetokounmpo wrote.

In a season where the two-time MVP was heavily involved in trade talks, multiple teams have been named as likely destinations for the NBA champion.

Before the social media post, the Suns were not one of those teams, but it could make for an instant championship team in the competitive Western Conference.

Phoenix surprised many this season, making the playoffs for the first time since trading Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets, thanks to the leadership of five-time all-star Devin Booker and a breakout season from Dillon Brooks.

Not to mention, the Suns also have Jalen Green, who has the potential to become a top guard in the years to come.

In many cases, these cryptic posts prove meaningless in the long run, but how well would Antetokounmpo fit with Phoenix?

Although Booker has paired with two Hall of Famers within the past five seasons, with Durant and Chris Paul, we have never seen him with a teammate like Antetokounmpo before.

Of course, pieces would move around if Phoenix were to pull off a trade for the nine-time all-star, but a pairing of Booker and Antetokounmpo, tied with a solid supporting cast, instantly puts them into title contention.

The Greek Freak is under contract with Milwaukee and is eligible for a $293 millon extension in the offseason, but it is hard to believe that is what the outcome will be for the power forward.
