The Duke Blue Devils were once again among the most successful teams in college basketball this past season, clinching the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament and making it to the Elite Eight.

Leading the charge for them all season long was five-star freshman Cam Boozer, who won the Wooden Award, was named a consensus All-American and was named the ACC Player of the Year. He and his twin brother Cayden, who was also a five-star recruit on the team, are the sons of Duke legend Carlos Boozer.

While Cayden had announced that he was planning to return to Duke next season, where he will have a chance to take on a large role, Cam had yet to announce his decision. In reality, it was nothing more than a formality as he is expected to be a top pick, but he made it official on Friday.

“Thank you for everything @dukeuniversity. Duke Blue forever,” wrote Boozer.

As one could expect, his comments were flooded with fans and fellow players congratulating him.

Among the more notable people to send their support was his twin brother, who will not be playing on the same team as him for the first time in his career next season.

“I guess we got a lot to talk about tonight 😔,” wrote Cayden on Instagram.

ESPN’s NBA draft insider Jeremy Woo ranked Boozer as the No. 3 player in his top 100 prospects ranking.

Friday marked the final day for players declaring early to make their decision.
