TOPEKA (KSNT) – Kansas men’s basketball unveiled its 2026-27 non-conference schedule on Tuesday.

The Jayhawks will open the season at Allen Fieldhouse against Fordham on Nov. 2 before hosting Middle Tennessee State on Nov. 6.

Kansas’ first major test comes Nov. 10 when the Jayhawks face Kentucky in the Champions Classic at Chicago’s United Center.

Later in November, KU heads to Las Vegas for the Players ERA 8 tournament. The Jayhawks will open against UNLV on Nov. 17 before facing either Auburn or West Virginia the following day. Kansas will close tournament play against one of four teams: Florida, Notre Dame, Houston or Rutgers.

Following the Thanksgiving holiday, the Jayhawks return to Lawrence for home games against Denver on Nov. 23, Villanova on Nov. 27 and Northern Iowa on Dec. 1.

The Jayhawks will meet rival Missouri in the Border Showdown on Dec. 6 at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, before traveling to Connecticut to face UConn on Dec. 12.

A week later, Kansas will take part in the CBS Sports Classic, facing Ohio State on Dec. 19 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The Jayhawks conclude non-conference play with home games against Indiana State on Dec. 22 and New Orleans on Dec. 29.

Kansas finished the 2025-26 season with a 24-11 record, tied for third in the Big 12 standings with a 12-6 conference mark and earned its 53rd all-time NCAA Tournament appearance.
