SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Former Gonzaga Bulldogs star Ryan Nembhard wrapped up a pre-draft workout with the Golden State Warriors today.

Nembhard continues to improve his draft stock, most notably through a stellar NBA Combine performance that built off his NCAA-leading assist season.

“It’s just great to be in a winning culture, that’s somewhere I could see myself and somewhere I could see myself helping the team win and succeed, so good to be back in San Fran,” Nembhard said. “I always like playing in San Fran, I don’t think I’ve ever lost out here so, it’s been fun.”

The last time Nembhard was in San Francisco, he dazzled Chase Center with 16 assists, tying the all-time GU record.

His older brother, Andrew, is now in the NBA Finals starting for the Indiana Pacers. Ryan shared his thoughts on the great recent family success.

“I’m excited for him, I think they got a real chance, and I’m also excited for my process, it’s been super fun so far,” Nembhard said. “Things like this don’t happen often. Some people may never even reach the finals in their whole career. So, it’s special for him to do it in year three. I’ve always had belief in him and his ability, and his ability to do big things in this league, so I’m super happy for him and super excited to keep watching.”

Game 1 of the 2025 NBA Finals is on ABC at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, and the NBA Draft begins June 25th.
