Jaylen Brown had some musical surprise guests at his 741 Frequency Fest.

The former Boston Celtics star, who is now with the Philadelphia 76ers, threw the festival that was attended by more than 14,000 fans, at Boston Common on Aug. 30, according to Complex.

Several artists hit the stage, including Lil Baby, Lil Jon, Smino, Ferg, Joyner Lucas, and more.

“I f–king love y’all, man,” Brown said when addressing the crowd over the weekend. “Listen up, I ain’t got too much to say because I’m at a loss for words. I’m seeing all these people out here, and honestly I love each and every one of y’all. Make some love for Boston, make some noise for Boston. I’ve been in this city for the last 10 years. I said I was gon’ go to war for this city when I first got here. … I just wanna say thank you to Boston, thank you to the city, and I love you.”

Fans expressed their love for Brown in the comments and how he will be missed in Boston.

“Love this fine young man, the best of the best, he truly defines the word excellence,” one fan commented under the video. “His talent, commitment and love was shown both personally and professionally to many organizations , and his fanbase not just in Boston, but from all of the New England States!”

Despite wearing a 76ers jersey next season, this Celtics fan he’ll forever be a part of the Boston team, writing, “You will always be a Celtic..you left everything on the parquet..thanks JB.”

Brown played for the Celtics for 10 seasons where he was drafted in 2016 as the No. 3 overall pick. He would go on to bring a championship to Boston in 2024 where he was also earned the NBA Finals MVP.

As Brown gears up for 76ers debut, he’s not the only star power the Philly team has added to the roster with NBA superstar LeBron James also be making his first appearance. The former Lakers star confirmed his decision to the 76ers last month.

The 76ers first game of the season will be against the reigning NBA champions, the New York Knicks on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at Madison Square Garden.
