Speaking on his podcast, Lonzo Ball shared massive praise for Jaylen Brown’s Boston Celtics legacy. Ball ranked Brown among the top five players in franchise history, stating he rates him above Jayson Tatum and right behind Larry Bird and Paul Pierce.

During this summer’s hectic offseason, Brown was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in a blockbuster move.
Brown left a significant legacy behind himself in Boston, winning a championship ring with them and being an instrumental part of it.
But the real question is, how big is Brown’s legacy in the franchise with most championships?
“Top-5 Celtic of all time”
In the Ball in the Family podcast, Lonzo Ball was full of praise for Brown.
Former second pick in the NBA Draft revealed that Brown is a top–5 Celtic of all time in his eyes.
“I got to see all the accolades, but if you line up Boston’s best players ever, he’s in my top five. So put that sh-t up there. Who’s f–king with him on the wing?,” Ball started.
Best wing in Boston’s history?
Lonzo noted that there are only two wings that could come into the conversation along with Brown, and none of them is Jayson Tatum:
“The only two wings better than him are Paul Pierce and Larry Bird. Larry and Paul. That’s him. Boom. Tatum? He’s a little better than Tatum,” Ball claimed.
“I think Brown’s a little better. They both obviously are great players. He’s low-key frying [Larry] Bird. I don’t want to be disrespectful, but, Jaylen Brown has a better chance of guarding him than he has of guarding Jaylen Brown,” Ball concluded.
