Leaving his postgame interview with a slight limp, Tyrese Haliburton caused all types of alarms to set off. The Oklahoma City Thunder evened the 2025 NBA Finals with a 123-107 Game 2 win over the Indiana Pacers. An injury to the latter’s franchise star could be detrimental.

After the Pacers practiced on Saturday, Haliburton calmed down any concerns. While he more or less admitted he’s dealing with something, he said it won’t affect his Game 3 availability. That’s all you can ask for if you’re Indiana.

“Yeah, I’m fine. Really just a lower leg thing. I’ll leave it at that. I don’t think there’s anything more to elaborate,” Haliburton said. “I feel fine and I’ll be ready to go for Game 3.”

If you reach this point of the season, you’re likely dealing with an ailment. Jalen Williams has had his wrist taped up for the entire playoffs. It’s June and both squads have played high-intensity playoff basketball for nearly two months.

The Pacers will need Haliburton to play better. Besides Game 1’s game-winner, the All-Star has faded into the background. He’s not known as a scorer, but Indiana needs him to be more assertive if it stands a chance to pull off an all-time upset.
