With a few days off before the WNBA’s Indiana Fever host the defending champion New York Liberty, a few of their players decided to head to Gainbridge to enjoy the NBA championship series.
Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Natasha Howard, who make up part of the Fever’s impressive core, were seen sitting courtside for Game 3 on Wednesday, and the Fever noted their appearance with a post on X.
Clark has been out for the past two weeks due to a strained quad. Although she sat out at Tuesday’s loss to the Atlanta Dream, she has been ramping up her activity, and a return on Saturday seems possible.
The Fever have also been without guard Sophie Cunningham, who has been out lately because of an ankle injury.

If Clark ends up playing on Saturday, it would present them with an opportunity to put together a statement win over Sabrina Ionescu and company. They currently have a 4-5 record, while New York is at 9-0.

The Pacers overcame a 15-point deficit in the fourth quarter of Game 1 and claimed a victory when Tyrese Haliburton hit the game-winning shot with 0.3 seconds left. They then fell in Game 2, 123-107, but thanks to their improbable Game 1 win, they’re still very much in this championship series.
