Nembhard is confident in his playmaking abilities and believes his pick-and-roll skills will translate well to the NBA.<\/p>\n
Ryan Nembhard has thoroughly enjoyed watching his big brother, Andrew, help the Indiana Pacers<\/a> reach the NBA Finals.<\/p>\n \u201cSuper proud,\u201d Ryan Nembhard said. \u201cThings like this don\u2019t happen often. Some people may never reach a finals their whole career. So it\u2019s special for him to do it in Year 3. I\u2019ve always had belief in him and his ability and his ability to do big things in this league. So I\u2019m super happy for him.\u201d<\/p>\n Game 5 is Monday, June 16, in Oklahoma City with the series tied 2-2.<\/p>\n Ryan is looking to join big bro in the NBA, too.<\/p>\n Ryan Nembhard has pre-draft workouts scheduled with more than 15 NBA teams, including the Phoenix Suns<\/a>.<\/p>\n Nembhard is scheduled to visit the Suns this week.<\/p>\n \u201cJust be you,\u201d Ryan Nembhard said. \u201cPeople like you because of what you\u2019ve shown your whole career. It\u2019s not going to change all the sudden now ’cause you\u2019re in this situation.\u201d<\/p>\n Phoenix currently has the 29th overall pick in the first round and the 52nd overall selection in the second round of the June 25-26 draft in Brooklyn.<\/p>\n Ryan Nembhard averaged 11.6 points on 44.6% shooting and led the NCAA in assists at 9.8 a game in his final year at Gonzaga this season. The 6-0 guard improved his 3-point shooting from 33% in his junior year to 40.4% in his senior year.<\/p>\n Beyond the numbers, Nembhard\u2019s pick-and-roll skills made him a shoot-or-pass threat in college that can translate to the NBA.<\/p>\n \u201cMy feel for the game and my impact go with that, just being able to impact and have a feel out there,\u201d Nembhard said. \u201cMake winning plays for a team.\u201d \u00a0<\/p>\n The Suns have already had Michigan big Danny Wolf, Alabama forward Grant Nelson, Missouri guard Caleb Grill and Nevada guard Kobe Sanders<\/a> visit for pre-draft workouts.<\/p>\n Auburn big Johni Broome<\/a> said Thursday, June 12, he\u2019s scheduled to have a pre-draft workout with the Suns.<\/p>\n \u201cI think I\u2019ll fit well in a lot of organizations,\u201d Broome said after a pre-draft workout with the Golden State Warriors<\/a>. \u201cWhoever picks me will get a good player, a dog, somebody who is going to contribute right away.\u201d<\/p>\n Sanders and Broome both had their pre-draft workouts with the Warriors on the same day.<\/p>\n Have opinions about the current state of the\u00a0Suns?
