However, the KD to Timberwolves talk has cooled off slightly with the two-time champion recently indicating he doesn&#8217;t want to be in Minnesota.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Reid and Randle are two other valuable members of the Wolves&#8217; frontcourt, and both are unrestricted free agents. We certainly want them there and I know Tim Connelly is working hard to make sure that they get some sort of deals done that make them happy,\u201d Finch told Allen.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Reid, a former Sixth Man of the Year, averaged 14.2 points, six rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game this past season. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/story\/_\/id\/45515890\/nba-free-agency-2025-deals-myles-turner-more-stars-get-summer\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:ESPN;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">ESPN<\/a>, he ranked as one of the top two reserves for the past two postseasons.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s expected to\u00a0decline his $15 million player option to get a better multi-year contract. Along with the Wolves, ESPN indicated that the Detroit Pistons could be a good fit for Reid to sign with in free agency.<\/p>\n<p>Randle averaged 18.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game with 48.5 percent field goal shooting in his first season in Minnesota.\u00a0He has a four-year, $117 million contract, including a player option for next season worth $30.9 million.<\/p>\n<p>He can choose to opt in and stay with the Timberwolves, or enter free agency.
