(Image Source: Getty) It\u2019s been a few days since Desmond Bane wore the Orlando Magic jersey. However, it seems like he was already a fan of the team long before he was traded from the Memphis Grizzlies. Bane\u2019s latest press talk where he took a dig at his previous team shows that he was indeed waiting for Orlando to pick him. The $163 million shooting guard gave some statements that were a shock for the listeners. Besides, Bane\u2019s honest statement might create difficulty for the Grizzlies during the drafting period.<\/p>\n

Desmond Bane opens up about Memphis Grizzlies poor training facility rooms<\/p>\n

During the Orlando Magic\u2019s press talk on Tuesday, Bane talks about how the Grizzlies training rooms were nowhere near the Magic’s facilities. He further went on to comment,\u201cIt\u2019s different, bro. The one in Memphis, we ain\u2019t have not one window\u2026 We joked around and called it the dungeon, but this is a breath of fresh air. I mean you literally can step outside and get a breath of fresh air and eat on the patio. I mean there\u2019s indoor, outdoor training facility. You know all the bells and whistles are in here.\u201dIt\u2019s not the first time that Bane openly admired the top-notch facility that the Magic had for their players and how he wished the Grizzlies would do the same. His previous post (now deleted) also resurfaced soon after the press-talk video went viral.Back in 2022 when the Orlando Magic revealed their all-new NBA facilities training center, Bane reposted it, tweeting \u201cThis what we need.\u201d Though Bane deleted the tweet soon after, the traces are still surfacing on the Internet. Now that the shooting guard is officially an Orlando player, he is openly speaking about the poor training centers of his previous team.What\u2019s interesting is that Bane is not the only one who thinks that the Grizzlies need to upgrade their training centers. There are other players in the team with the same mindset, however, none of them have spoken about it in public.Though Bane\u2019s comments were taken lightly, it does put the Grizzlies in a bad light, and with the NBA draft nearing, all these factors will affect the team\u2019s future.
