The\u00a0Golden State Warriors<\/a>\u00a0have had over 600 players don the more than 60 jersey numbers used by their players over the more than 75 years of existence the team has enjoyed in its rich and storied history.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1946 during the Basketball Association of America (BAA — a precursor league of the NBA) era, the team has called home the cities of Philadelphia, San Francisco, Oakland, and even San Diego.<\/p>\n

To commemorate the players who wore those numbers,\u00a0Warriors<\/a>\u00a0Wire is covering the entire history of jersey numbers and the players who sported them since the founding of the team. For this article, we begin with the 17th of 27 players who wore the No. 15 jersey for the\u00a0Warriors<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That player would be Golden State guard alum Rudy White. After ending his college career at Arizona State, White was picked up with the 47th overall selection of the 1975 NBA draft by the Houston Rockets<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Silver City, New Mexico native would play the first four seasons of his pro career with the Rockets. That ended when he was cut by Houston in 1979, signing with the Dubs in 1980.<\/p>\n

His stay with the team would span just four games before he was dealt to the Seattle SuperSonics. During his time suiting up for the Warriors<\/a>, White wore only jersey No. 15 and put up 5.5 points and 1.0 steals per game.<\/p>\n
