They\u2019ve interviewed at least three candidates, all either free agents (Taylor Jenkins, Mike Brown<\/a>) or assistants (Minnesota\u2019s Micah Nori<\/a>). They sought permission to interview several head coaches under contract, none of whom received permission<\/a> from their respective clubs to entertain the Knicks. According to the Dallas Morning News, they \u201cexpressed interest\u201d in former Mavericks assistant Sean Sweeney, who is now out of the mix after accepting the lead assistant gig in San Antonio.
