The Pacers made a trade Wednesday night to add a second round pick, giving Indiana the No. 38 and 54 picks in Thursday night’s Round 2.<\/p>\n

Thirty picks down, 29 to go.<\/p>\n

The first round of the 2025\u00a0NBA Draft<\/a>\u00a0got off without a hitch.<\/p>\n

Unsurprisingly,\u00a0Cooper Flagg\u00a0went No. 1 overall to the\u00a0Dallas Mavericks<\/a>, while\u00a0Duke\u00a0teammates\u00a0Kon Knueppel\u00a0(No. 4) and\u00a0Khaman Maluach\u00a0(No. 10) each went inside the top 10.<\/p>\n

It wasn’t until later in the first round when the unexpected selections picked up. As certain names flew off the board, fans were left with questions like, “How is that player still available?”<\/p>\n
