NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The Pelicans are keeping their dynamic duo of broadcasters together for the foreseeable future. <\/p>\n
On Monday (June 30), the Pelicans announced that play-by-play announcer Joel Myers and color analyst Antonio Daniels will remain as the faces of the franchise\u2019s broadcast team for the next several years. <\/p>\n
Details of the deals were not made immediately available. <\/p>\n
Daniels and Myers have been the voices behind the Pelicans\u2019 television broadcasts since 2019.<\/p>\n

Their passion, insight, and chemistry have made them fan favorites across the Gulf South region.\u201d<\/p>\n
Myers is an Emmy Award-winning announcer with over 40 years of experience, which includes 14 years in New Orleans. He was named 2024 Louisiana Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sports Media Association for his work on the Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network.<\/p>\n
Daniels, a former player who once played for New Orleans, is coming into his seventh season with the broadcast team. He\u2019s a former NBA Champion with 14 years of playing experience on his resume. <\/p>\n
Former ESPN NBA reporter Andrew Lopez will also return for his second season with the Pelicans\u2019 broadcast team. Lopez is a New Orleans native. <\/p>\n
