Undrafted out of Notre Dame, he has played 10 seasons in the NBA and posted 5.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in 2024-25 while shooting 46.9% overall and 32.1% on 3-pointers.<\/p>\n<p>Milwaukee agreed to a reported four-year, $107 million deal with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nba.com\/news\/bucks-myles-turner-free-agency\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">center Myles Turner<\/a> and was set to waive All-Star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nba.com\/news\/bucks-waive-damian-lillard\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">guard Damian Lillard<\/a> to help complete that transaction. In trading Connaughton (who opted into his deal for 2025-26), the Bucks save some salary cap room with this reported trade.<\/p>\n<p>Charlotte was busy before the free agency window opened, as it acquired veteran <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nba.com\/news\/jazz-hornets-sexton-nurkic-trade\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">guard Collin Sexton<\/a> from the Utah Jazz in a separate trade. In Charlotte, Connaughton will join a guard corps that includes All-Star LaMelo Ball, Tre Mann and rookie Kon Knueppel as well as talented youngsters Brandon Miller, Miles Bridges, Tidjane Sala\u00fcn and rookie Liam McNeeley.<\/p>\n<p>Mici\u0107 was dealt from Phoenix to Charlotte in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nba.com\/news\/suns-hornets-trade-mark-williams\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Mark Williams Draft-night trade<\/a> and played in 66 career games for the Hornets in the 2023-24 and \u201924-25 seasons, averaging 3.3 ppg and 2.5 apg.
