Former Ohio State basketball player Jae’Sean Tate will be staying in Houston.<\/p>\n
Tate had a solid career in Columbus but went undrafted in the 2018 NBA draft, instead spending time overseas before getting a shot to show what he can do at the game’s highest level when he was signed by the Houston Rockets<\/a> in 2020. He quickly made a name for himself, making the All-Rookie team and continuing to show an all-around game that plays well at any level.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Last season wasn’t what he hoped for, having to endure an injury-plagued season, averaging just 3.6 points in just 11.3 minutes per game. However, when he’s healthy, Tate is the type of presence a team wants in the lineup as a glue-type guy.
