The Pelicans signed multiyear contract extensions with TV play-by-play announcer Joel Meyers and color analyst Antonio Daniels, who have been the voices behind the Pelicans\u2019 TV broadcasts since 2019. Meyers returns for his 14th season with the franchise, while Daniels enters his seventh season. Meyers and Daniels will continue to serve as the primary voices of Pelicans basketball on the Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network. BACK IN THE STUDIO: THE ATHLETIC\u2019s Andrew Marchand reported after missing the final two months of last year<\/a> due to a cancer diagnosis<\/a>, ESPN expects Pro Football HOFer Randy Moss to return to a full-time role on \u201cSunday NFL Countdown\u201d this season. Moss is expected to join the \u201cSunday NFL Countdown\u201d crew \u201cevery Sunday.\u201d It will be his 10th year with ESPN (THE ATHLETIC, 7\/1<\/a>).<\/p>\n MINOR SETBACK: Blue Jays TV announcer Buck Martinez this week gave an update on his delayed return to the booth, saying he had a \u201clittle health setback.\u201d In Toronto, Ron Longley noted Martinez last called a game on May 28 in Texas, but \u201ctook all of June off — much of it scheduled.\u201d His plan \u201cwas to return\u201d for the four-game series against the Yankees this week, including yesterday\u2019s much-celebrate Canada Day game.
