He has registered seven 20-point games, including a 22-point, 14-rebound performance on June 1.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>He will make $5,429,520 next season, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spotrac.com\/nba\/cba\/rookie-scale\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:according to Spotrac;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">according to Spotrac<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The 18-year-old was highly touted as a prospect this year because of his size, rebounding and defensive versatility. He looked increasingly comfortable on offense and turned in several noteworthy performances in the second half of the season.<\/p>\n<p>Essengue helped ratiopharm Ulm reach the best-of-five championship series against Bayern Munich.
