{"id":148360,"date":"2025-07-05T05:09:12","date_gmt":"2025-07-05T05:09:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/148360\/"},"modified":"2025-07-05T05:09:12","modified_gmt":"2025-07-05T05:09:12","slug":"fairmont-native-jalen-bridges-signed-to-boston-celtics-summer-league-roster","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/148360\/","title":{"rendered":"Fairmont native Jalen Bridges signed to Boston Celtics\u2019 summer league roster"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) &#8211;<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Fairmont Senior High School graduate and former WVU Men\u2019s Basketball player Jalen Bridges has signed to the Boston Celtics\u2019 Summer League roster.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to The Athletic, Bridges, a Fairmont native, was added to the Celtics\u2019 Summer League roster on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He will also attend the team\u2019s fall camp, giving him an opportunity to make the team\u2019s final roster before next season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Jay King, a Boston Celtics reporter for The Athletic, posted this on X:<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Jalen Bridges has been added to the Celtics summer league roster, I&#8217;ve been told, and will be going to camp with the team in the fall with a chance to make the roster. He played for Phoenix on a two-way contract as a rookie.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Jay King (@ByJayKing) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ByJayKing\/status\/1940513051264143706?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">July 2, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Bridges just finished his first season in the NBA after playing two years at WVU.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He completed his college basketball career at Baylor and went undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">For the Phoenix Suns last season, Bridges averaged 3.8 minutes per game and shot 28.6% from the field.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">You can watch his debut on July 11th, as the Boston Celtics take on the Memphis Grizzlies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2025 WDTV.
