Watford, a close friend of Sixers star Tyrese Maxey, is a versatile forward who can do so many different things on the floor and can move the Sixers in the right direction in the right role.<\/p>\n<p>Watford averaged a career-high 10.2 points along with 3.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists while shooting 46.9% from the floor and 33% from deep in the 2024-25 season with the <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/basketball\/nba\/teams\/brooklyn-nets\/17\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Brooklyn Nets;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Brooklyn Nets<\/a>. He now brings his game down the New Jersey Turnpike into Philadelphia and look to help turn them around after a miserable 24-58 season.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>The Sixers have not announced what the terms of the deal officially, but per Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the deal has a team option for the second year of the contract.<\/p>\n<p>Watford will certainly be a big help to the Sixers in the right role. If he can put the ball on the floor, draw attention from defenders, and kick out to shooters and the team&#8217;s stars, they will be in great shape.
