The Minnesota Timberwolves just wrapped up the sale<\/a> of their franchise. Fans are thrilled with the transition of power to Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez. The Minnesota Twins are for sale<\/a> and the Pohlad family can\u2019t accept an offer<\/a> soon enough. The Wilf\u2019s aren\u2019t putting the Minnesota Vikings up for sale any time soon, but they\u2019d make a killing.<\/p>\n Of course there are few teams across any sporting leagues that can compete with the valuations of NFL franchises. The league is an absolute beast and football is easily the most popular sport in the United States.<\/p>\n That\u2019s great news for the Wilf family. Even though they aren\u2019t getting rid of their asset any time soon, the investment portfolio continues to grow.<\/p>\n Wilf\u2019s loving return on MN Vikings investment<\/p>\n Mark, Zygi, and Leonard Wilf bought the Minnesota Vikings in 2005. They purchased the franchise from Red McCombs, who previously had owned the franchise since 1998. Of course the Wilf\u2019s aren\u2019t done investing either. The TCO Performance Center and surrounding area at Vikings Lakes continues to be expanded upon and has room for additional opportunity.<\/p>\n It actually sounds as though the Timberwolves could provide quite the assist to the Vikings if Lore and Rodriguez choose a potential proposed site for the new arena.<\/p>\n \u201cEagan, as part of the Vikings complex, and Bloomington, adjacent to Mall of America on the southeast side, are considered favored sites for an NBA arena that would replace Target Center under new Timberwolves-Lynx owners Alex Rodriguez and Marc Lore.\u201d<\/p>\n Charley Walters \u2013 Pioneer Press<\/a><\/p>\n Bringing the Timberwolves to Eagan would generate a near year-round reason for fans to flock towards the Wilf\u2019s interests. Additional shopping, dining, lodging accommodations don\u2019t directly impact the bottom line for the Vikings, but will help to prop everything up.<\/p>\n The Wilf\u2019s are arguably the most respected owners in Minnesota, and they certainly seem to fair well across the entire sports landscape as well.
