The Sixers brought him back on a 3-year deal after he produced good numbers and overall play as an undrafted rookie.<\/p>\n<p>Edwards averaged 10.1 points and 3.4 rebounds with 1.6 assists while shooting 45.5% from the floor and 36.3% from deep in 44 games with 26 starts. He was brought in initially on a two-way deal and the Sixers then declined his team option and brought him back on a better deal.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJustin\u2019s growth and versatility were on full display last season as a rookie, and we\u2019re excited to see his progression continue in a 76ers uniform,\u201d said President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey via a press release. \u201cHis natural shooting ability combined with his athleticism and defensive toughness make him very valuable to what we as an organization are trying to accomplish both now and in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Morey and his staff have an eye for talent as they have put together a strong team every year.
