The Oklahoma City Thunder\u2019s summer league team lost 92-80 Saturday in Salt Lake City to the Memphis Grizzlies in the first game of the NBA Summer League.<\/p>\n

The Grizzlies had big performances from GG Jackson and Jaylen Wells, who both had 20 points and three 3-pointers each.<\/p>\n
Cam Spencer also had 14 points and former Oklahoma State and West Virginia player Javon Small scored four points and dished out six assists in 19 minutes.<\/p>\n
The Thunder got the loss, but had plenty of first impressions and eyebrow-raising performances from a few players.<\/p>\n
Ajay Mitchell led the game with 24 points, along with six assists and a few highlight plays, including a spin-move into the paint and rising into a double-clutch layup with contact.<\/p>\n
Nikola Topic, the Thunder\u2019s first-round pick in 2024, scored 14 points on 6-11 from the field and 2-4 from 3-point range. Topic tore his ACL close to the 2024 draft and Saturday\u2019s game was his first performance in an OKC uniform.<\/p>\n

OKC\u2019s second-round pick in 2025, Brooks Barnhizer, scored nine points on 3-5 from the field and 13 rebounds. Jazian Gortman scored 10 points and three assists.<\/p>\n
