In the NBA, or any professional sports league for that matter, there\u2019s an order of blame that almost always goes like this:\u00a0<\/p>\n

First, it\u2019s the previous regime\u2019s fault: \u201cThis was a real mess.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Second, it\u2019s the media\u2019s fault: \u201cYou guys don\u2019t know anything and don\u2019t understand patience.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Third, the coach is blamed: \u201cWe could be better.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fourth, it falls on the front office: \u201cTime to start over.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

In firing Tom Thibodeau, the Knicks took the leap over No. 3 quicker than we anticipated.
