Bronny James<\/a> and the Los Angeles Lakers<\/a> continued their NBA Summer League schedule on Saturday, facing the New Orleans Pelicans<\/a> at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

James scored eight points<\/a> in an 87-85 loss to the Dallas Mavericks<\/a> on Thursday in the Lakers’ first Vegas Summer League contest. That number was nearly higher as James attempted the potential game-winner, but his long-range effort before the buzzer didn’t fall.<\/p>\n

Last week, the Lakers went 2-1 in California Classic play, falling to the Golden State Warriors<\/a> before defeating the Miami Heat<\/a> and San Antonio Spurs<\/a>. After not playing against the Warriors, the son of LeBron James \u2014 who was in the building to watch Bronny on Saturday \u2014 put up 10 points in just 10 minutes of playing time against the Heat, but took a step back with a two-point showing versus San Antonio.<\/p>\n
